有數若干，欲以一數蔽之，稱平均數。

幾均：以積、根取均。（<math>G_n = \sqrt[n]{a_1a_2\cdots a_n}</math>）

諧均：其倒數為各數倒數之算均。（<math>\frac1{H_n} = \frac{\frac1{a_1} + \frac1{a_2} + \cdots \frac1{a_n}}n</math>，<math>H_n = \frac n{\frac1{a_1} + \frac1{a_2} + \cdots \frac1{a_n}}</math>）

方均：其自乘為各數自乘之算均。（<math>Q_n^2 = \frac{a_1^2 + a_2^2 + \cdots + a_n^2}n</math>，<math>Q_n = \sqrt{\frac{a_1^2 + a_2^2 + \cdots + a_n^2}n}</math>）

算幾均：所以取二數平均。求算均、幾均而得新二數，更求算均、幾均而得新二數⋯⋯。如此往復，終歸一數，此數稱算幾均。

幾諧均：所以取二數平均。求幾均、諧均而得新二數，更求幾均、諧均而得新二數⋯⋯。如此往復，終歸一數，此數稱幾諧均。
